The ART.CADE

is an exhibition space situated within the medieval arcades of the Maison du Gave in Sauveterre-de-Béarn. Overlooking the Gave d’Oloron, the site brings together historical architecture and contemporary artistic practice.

Throughout the year, the ART.CADE provides a context for photographic and artistic work to be encountered in public space. During the summer, it hosts the presentation of the selected work of ONE IMAGE.

Rather than functioning as a conventional venue, the ART.CADE serves as a setting in which photographic works are placed in dialogue with landscape, community, and time.
