ONE IMAGE marks the beginning of a new annual curatorial process.
In an age of visual saturation, the project returns to a fundamental question: what image must exist?
Rather than producing categories or trends, ONE IMAGE focuses attention on the singular photographic act — the capacity of an image to define how reality is perceived.
Photographers worldwide are invited to submit one image. Each submission contributes to a shared field of responses.
From this field, one image is set as the response to the annual question.
